Ambulance Network

This page describes the steps to create the Corona Safe Ambulance Network in

Background: There was an existing system in Ernakulam General Hospital named “Raksha Angel - 102” till December 2019. Any calls coming into 102 from EKM district would be routed to the Central Console. There are 650+ ambulances which are registered with the Regional Transport Officer under Ernakulam.There are 57 ambulances who are extremely active in the district and come for any emergencies. The details of 265 ambulances with mobile numbers are shared by the RTO to the District Emergency Operations Center. (DEOC). Steps to Make the CoronaSafe Ambulance Network Live in Ernakulam.

• Collector to ensure that the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) Letter should be sent to all ambulance drivers and owners informing them to register the ambulances under Ernakulam District with the system.

• Phone Numbers of all ambulances would be taken by the RTO and shared with DEOC.

• The link for Ambulances to register with the SDMA system would be sent from the DEOC to Ambulance Owners with a prescribed deadline to enter the data.

• We take a count of the ambulances with drivers having/not having android phones.

• The link the download CoronaSafe Super App is sent to Ambulance Drivers on a priority basis and they use the app to login to the network.

• Make Video of Registration in the website.

• Once the login is complete the system would be tested by sending requests from the system to Ambulances

• This test would then confirm the test drill of the Network as ready to go-live.
